I believe the most effective treatment is unique to the individual, and is set in a non-judgmental and empathic environment. From my perspective, the role of therapist is to invite the client to explore his or her life, to instill curiosity in the client about patterns, and to facilitate insight. I play an active and engaged role with clients and always aim to be direct and transparent.
My clinical experience has been working with clients from a wide range of difficulties and life experiences, so I tailor my work with patients accordingly. I work with individuals of all gender, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, and life difficulties. My clinical approach is eclectic- I use psychodynamic/ insight-oriented therapy, EMDR, DBT, walk-and-talk therapy (therapy outside of the office), and creative arts therapies.
I work with clients in individual, group, family, and couples psychotherapy.
